Friday 27th– Saturday 28th April 2007

at The Bahrain Accountants Association.

Morning: 09:00 to 13:00 hours.

Evening: 14:30 to 18:30 hours.

Sobriety Date: July 12, 1983

- Conducted two similar 12-Step workshops.

- Served as the P/R person for the State of West Virginia.

- Assisted the G.S.O. State Rep.

- Spoke at the German A.A. Convention in Hamburg.

- Spoke at several conferences in Europe and the USA.

- Published the AA Newsletter in Germany.

- Has held all the different positions (GSR, etc.) in home groups.

- Prof. of Mathematics, PMU.

Workshop Guidelines:
Each Step will begin with the workshop facilitator giving a short historical
background of the step followed by a summary of the step. Then there will be a
question/answer session. When each participant states that he/she has worked
the Step and is ready to move on, we will then proceed to the next step.
Each participant will need to select someone in the group of participants to
serve as his/her sponsor during the workshop. If the participant's permanent
sponsor is also attending the workshop, then, of course, that will be the person.
If not, then the participant will need to select a "temporary sponsor" for those two
days.
It is not acceptable that two people sponsor each other.
If a person "slips" during the workshop, that person is automatically out of the
workshop.
If a person misses a session of the workshop that person is dropped from the
workshop.
Friday 27th April
Morning Session: 09:00 to 13:00 hrs.
Step 1 to 3
At the conclusion of Step 3, each participant will pray in the manner he/she
chooses, the Third Step Prayer.    
90 minutes Lunch (Having lunch together permits participants to discuss what
they did during the morning session).

Afternoon Session: 14:30 to 18:30 hrs.
Step 4 to 6
Step 4 normally takes the longest to complete. Each participant will receive a
Fourth Step Inventory handout. We will use this personal Fourth Step Inventory
we complete in conjunction with Step 5. And we will use it to make a list of all
people we have harmed when we get to Step 8.
Step 5 will be taken with the participants sponsor, one-on-one, in some isolated
spot (Corner of the room, another room, car, etc.)
Step 6 – Are you ready? For what? Step 7!
Saturday 28th APRIL:
Morning Session: 09:00 to 13:00 hrs.
Step 7 to 9
Step 7 Prayer – handout. At the end of the session we pray in unison the 7th
STEP PRAYER.
Step 8 – We use Step 4 Inventory to make the list.
Step 9 – You must make amends to those on the Step 8 list. During lunch break
(1.5 hours) you must make at least one of these amends in person, or via
telephone, or via email or by writing a letter.
Afternoon Session: 14:30 to 18:30 hrs.
Step 10 to 12
Step 10 – Continue to take personal inventory…
Step 11 – Improving our conscious contact with God…
Step 12 – During the week after the workshop you must go personally to some
suffering alcoholic and share what the program of AA and your Higher Power
has done for you.
